And then there was Thompson...

So, last thing I read online yesterday is that Sandra Dee passed on.

First thing I read this morning is that Hunter S. Thompson committed suicide. More can be found at Auf! Auf! Aleksandr

The say that famous people die in 3's...was there someone right before Sandra, or is someone soon to be next.

I know it sounds weird when I say it like that, but it tends to be true...if only I could think of an example right now...

I recently finished 'Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas' for the first time a few weeks ago. It actually left me un-impressed as simple ramblings with very little comedy. Perhaps the meaning went over my head..... Anyway, I had heard that he only granted interviews to people that mowed his lawn. Don't know if that's true or not but I heard it worked for a 60 minute interview.

The famous-deaths-in-threes thing: It looked to me like it was Thompson, Dee, and John Raitt. Raitt eventually became known as Bonnie Raitt's father (which he acknowledged and was proud of), but he had a strong entertainment career of his own. You could toss Reggie Roby's untimely death this week into the mix, but only sports fans would recognize it.
