Cowabunga!

Today was just another Wednesday in my life.  That means managing the childcare stuff in the mornings and playing with all the kids.  Honestly, I can be having the worst day and they just erase it all. Last week I was crying and fuming when I arrive at work. This week I was worn out. But as soon as those kids start filing in...looking up at you with innocent hopeful eyes...giving you crackers...trying to feed you cheerios...drooling on you...clinging to you for dear life (I love you dear, but I am NOT your mother, stop trying to breastfeed)... its just like nothing bad ever happened.

After that I went into my other job at the office.  We had an ice cream get together so I got a huge Mint Chocolate Chip shake.  It was the only thing I had to eat all day aside from the ritz crackers the children  fed me in the morning.

After work, I went to dinner with someone I hadn't really spent time with in a while.  We went to PF Chang's China Bistro in Pasadena. I love PF Chang's but had not yet visited the Pasadena location (though I've been to Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach on more than once occasion each).  Dinner was great as usual. Service was flawless, as usual.  And then when I came back from the bar (I was getting change...not a drink), I thought I saw a woman who looked a lot like Lark Voohries from "Saved By the Bell" (god, I loved that show).  On my way out, i said to my friend "I thnk that was Lisa from Saved by the Bell!!!" So we both sneaked a peek as we left and we are almost positive that it was her.  Sigh.  How fun.  A semi-celebrity spotting.

Full day of classes tomorrow, followed by a group study meeting for an impossible test that I know I will fail, followed immediately after my a focus group, which is in turn followed by a meething with my Research Methods group.

Am I looking forward to tomorrow?  Not really

Yes I too loved saved by the bell. We have PF Changs here in St. Louis but they are a little too expensive for my budget... =/

Heh heh. I remember once I was in Beverly Hills and ran into Kim Coles at the Jamba Juice on Wilshire (?). It must be so obvious that I am not from SoCal, because I couldn't stop staring at her the entire time. The company I work for has stores in SoCal, and celebrities stop by our Studio City store all the time, and I'm always grilling my SoCal co-workers to give me the latest celebrity dish. Heh heh.
