2007 is well underway....
Yes, I am still alive.
Blogging and a lot of other things I used to do online have fallen by the wayside in the past year with the absence of a personal computer. I've made a goal to blog once every two weeks. This is nothing to most bloggers, and a year ago, I would have thought "only ONCE every two weeks??" But at this point, I think that would be a great accomplishment. Baby steps. Baby steps. Then if I can master that, I'll upgrade to once a week.
Writing has always been a great release for me, so bottling it all up has been no fun!
The last post I made was that major update back in September. A lot has happened in the past four or five months, of course. I will, however, skip those details and just get to the current stuff going on in my life.
Taking another semester off from school. This is a plus and a minus. I would really like to just GRADUATE, but having the stress of my university lifted for this extended period of time has been wonderful, considering everything I've been involved with the past few months.
Now, I'm working at a school as an assistant teacher. I started the first week of January. Last night was the big winter show, complete with dancing, the chorus, and orchestras. The kids were all fantastic, and when many of them came up to me before the show to say hi, it felt great to know that they actually like me - even though I'm always telling them to be quiet and get back to work.
I'm also working as a "Professional Organizer." It's a term I'm trying to get more comfortable with, but I like the work a lot. I help people in their homes, home offices, and businesses. I enjoy the work, and I love seeing how happy my clients are. I have a website, but due to prying stalker-ish eyes that read my blog, I'd prefer not to post the link. And that's about it right now. Working at the school, working with organizing clients, still volunteering. Aside from the stressful week I'm in the midst of now (and my car getting towed two weeks ago and having to pay 200 bucks to get it back), 2007 has been pretty good to me so far.
